PREREQUISITES
Ground course and mathematical analysis and linear algebra.

COURSE AIM
To offer basic knowledge of analytical and numerical methods for analyzing the behaviour of dynamical systems frequently occuring in applications.

CONTENTS
Phase portraits for continuous systems. Graphical analysis of discrete systems. Stability and Lyapunov functions. Bifurcations. Main types of chaos and routes to chaos. Analysis of concrete systems from applications.
