COURSE AIM
After finishing the course the students should: - know how to use different instruments for simple accompaniment of the class repertoires - feel confident when using music in their work - have an extended repertoire

CONTENTS
Chord and melody playing, basic knowledge of theory and playing the guitar, piano, electric bass and the percussion instrument. Potential uses of computers and electronics. Ensemble playing.

TEACHING
The teaching is preferably in small groups taking into consideration previous knowledge and needs of the participants.

EXAMINATION
The participants should by the end of the course be able to perform accompaniments using instruments and techniques that they have been taught during the course.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass

Gren-Nilsson, Kompa enkelt på gitarr del 1. (grundkurs i gitarr) Gummesson, T, (1993) Musikalisk språklära, Sundbyberg: Warner/Chappell Music. Övrig litteratur väljs i samråd med deltagarna.
