PREREQUISITES
To have passed the courses KSP001 and KSP002 specializing in music or equivalent qualifications.
COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to provide the students with knowledge of:
- basic education in music in compulsory school
- the social function and didactics of the subject
- music from other cultures
- the importance of methods of working creatively
CONTENTS
- song repertoire
- musical appreciation
- simple arrangements
- knowledge of instruments
- ensemble playing
- improvisation and creativity
- the importance and use of music in school
- Swedish folk music which also includes music from Norrbotten and songs written in Lappish and Finnish
- music from other cultures
- how music can be used to integrate
- exercises and methodology for leaders
- teaching of instruments
TEACHING

- literature seminars
EXAMINATION
The students will be graded on individual examination and assessment during the experimental part of the course.
